Soft Roti's (Homemade)
You deserve a soft, and slightly crisp homemade roti to mop up that curry or butter chicken!

Let's get rolling!
Dough
2 cups Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
200 ml Water (boiling)
100 ml Milk (warm)
80 ml Butter (melted)
Frying Roti

RECIPE
1. In a measuring jug, combine all wet ingredients for dough. Set aside.
2. Mix flour and salt into a bowl.
3. Make a well in the middle of the flour (to allow for wet ingredients).
4. Pour half the wet ingredients into the well.
5. Use a wooden spoon to slowly combine.
6. Gradually add more of the wet ingredients, and combine to form a dough. If your dough becomes too sticky, add 1-2 tbsp of flour. (See Tips)
7. Roll out the dough into a big circle, approx. half a cm thick. (See Tips)
8. Brush melted butter over the top of the dough.
9. Roll into a swiss roll.
10. Cut swiss roll (vertically) into 5 cm chunks.
11. Roll into a roti round. (See Tips)
12. Using a non-stick pan on a medium heat, brush dough with butter and place onto pan. Leave for 1-2 mins, as the roti becomes light crisp.
13. As the roti starts to bubble, brush the top with butter then flip. Leave for 1-2 mins.
