DESIGN & DEV
Joining Springnest ignited my interest in web design and front-end development. Dedicating time to understanding the design capabilities within multiple content management systems (CMS), has been valuable. Managing, designing, and redesigning websites within hospitality and tourism brands has shaped my understanding of UX, and its differences as well as the overlap between technology and principles of composition within digital media.
Most of my exposure to graphic design lies in creating visual assets for digital marketing purposes. I enjoy reading about the role of psychology, and how it is an added advantage when approaching marketing as well as uncovering the overlap between designing visual elements and psychology.
DEVELOPMENT
On a quest to build programming skills and capabilities through the SheCodes Front-End Diploma. It's been an enlightening experience uncovering and understanding front-end development. I've built a weather app, a landing page, and a poem generator that uses AI API. Now progressing to responsive development, and React.
WEB DESIGN
I have a growing understanding of no-code website builders. I am proficient in multiple content management systems, such as Squarespace, WIX, WordPress, and Hostinger (Zyro). Alongside these CMSs, I am proficient in Springnest's custom-built CMS, having completed +125 website designs, a few examples here:
SLIDE DECKS
During my post-graduate studies, I was the lead designer of our slide decks, and visual assets for each of the 12 modules.
