WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Joining Springnest ignited my interest in web design and front-end development. Dedicating time to understand the design capabilities within multiple content management systems (CMS), has been valuable. Managing, designing, and redesigning websites within hospitality and tourism brands has shaped my understanding of UX, and its differences as well as the overlap between technology and principles of composition within digital media.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Most of my exposure to graphic design lies in creating visual assets for digital marketing purposes. I enjoy reading about the role of psychology, and how it is an added advantage when approaching marketing as well as uncovering the overlap between designing visual elements and psychology.
WEB DESIGN
I have a growing understanding of no-code website builders. I am proficient in multiple content management systems, such as Squarespace, WIX, WordPress, and Hostinger (Zyro). Alongside these CMSs, I am proficient in Springnest's custom-built CMS, having completed +125 website designs, a few examples here:
WEB DEVELOPMENT
My HTML proficiency started during my time at Springnest, editing HTML tables. Continued my quest towards build programming skills and capabilities by enrolling in SheCodes Max. Uncovering front-end development. From designing and developing landing pages, I progressed into building two other projects to deepen my understanding of JavaScript.
SLIDE DECKS
During my post-graduate studies, I was the lead designer of our slide decks, and visual assets for each of the 12 modules.
